Tip: This is a very critical time to make choices that you
are sure about. And that is the idea of having children in the wedding
party. If you do choose to follow this tradition, make sure you
can have an "anything goes" attitude as you never know
how a child will behave on the actual wedding day with everyone
watching. They can be so cute in their Flower Girl dresses or Ring
Bearer tuxedos. Photos will renew only how adorable they are. With
this in mind, we must talk about the Flower Girl first.
-
She is usually between the ages of 4 and 8 years
old

is not required to attend pre-wedding parties
-
Arrives dressed at ceremony site 45 minutes before
the wedding for photographs
-

to drop along the bride's path during processional, if allowed
by the ceremony site
-

bride during the processional
-

the officiant
-
If very young, she may sit with her parents during
ceremony
-

following bride and groom during the recessional
-
Sits with her parents during the reception
-
Her parents pay for her wedding day attire
-
She must be available for fittings and alterations
-
Her parents pay for any travel expenses, if necessary
I know how special this can be for the right person. Choose wisely
and enjoy how she will brighten up your wedding party and wedding
day.
