First thing, of course, is to buy a wedding organizer, and use
it! You need a place to keep everything ~ business cards, directions,
notes, etc. Write everything down.
Take
the time to interview three of each vendor. You will learn from
each person you meet. It will enable you to ask better questions
when you go on to the next. Schedule appointments with your wedding
professionals. It will make your day go smoother if you know where
you have to be and how long it will take. Get directions how to
get there to save "getting lost" time.
Have a checklist to write things down that you need to order,
need to do, and not to forget to take to the wedding. Some brides
have a wedding room and store things like toasting glasses, garters,
etc. so they don't forget where they put them.
