Tip: April always brings us to Prom Season which makes
us think of Tuxedo Rentals. This is always something to watch
for. Prom season usually begins around Easter and runs through
Memorial Day weekend.
Keep
in mind, even if you do not know of a school having proms, they
are nationwide. That means tuxedo stores move their inventory
around as much as possible to meet the orders. However, the first
sizes to run out will be substituted--so this means you may not
get the size you require.
It is appropriate for the ushers and groomsmen to pay for their
own tuxedo. Discuss the price with them ahead of time so they
work it into their budget. Also, discuss with your bride if you
want to have all the shoes match by renting them.
Think of additional people in your family that you may want
to wear tuxedos--like grandfathers, uncles, etc. as this can affect
your photos.
Don't put loose change or keys that are noisey in your pockets--they
jingle when you walk down the aisle and can be distracting during
the service.
Try to check pricing for your tuxedo--many tuxedo stores will
give the groom a free or discounted tuxedo.
