Tip: Giving your guests as much information as you can will
make them know you care about them. It will be as though you are
taking care of them without actually being there. They will wonder
how you did it. The answerplanning, planning, planning.
Send
out Save-The-Date Cards or a Wedding Newsletter. After you
have secured the date of the Wedding and the hotel information for
where your guests will stay, send the Save-The-Date Cards so they
can plan for the trip well ahead of time. Besides the date and location
of the wedding, your Save-The-Date Card can include any information
on Hotel Rooms you may have blocked as well as information about
events, tourist attractions in your town, Renting Transportation,
how to get from the airport to the hotel, and any other pertinent
information.
Sending Save-The-Date cards is an excellent tool to give out-of-town
guests the extra time they may need to plan. After you send the
save-the-date card, you can send a follow-up mailing either
separately or with the invitation that contains hotel information.
In other words, if you do not have all the information when you
want to send the Save-The-Date Cards, send it with what you do know,
then follow-up with an additional mailing with more details. If
all you need to send is Hotel Information, you can just enclose
this in your wedding invitations. A Wedding Newsletter is just thata
newsletter that gives an abundance of information instead of only
date and hotel information.
Any way you do this, your guests will be so impressed how you have
thought of EVERYTHING!!
Still keep having fun, stay organized, and keep smiling.
