Tip: This is something that can be great fun for those that are closest to the bride and groom and family that happens to still be here from out of town.  

The day after the festivities may include a brunch so this would happen after the brunch.  

What happens is that your friends and family all gather together and watch you open your wedding gifts (it's basically like a bridal shower, only in this case, many of the gift-givers may not be present).

Please have assistance with someone keeping track of the gifts as you open them.  

This can be a wonderful way to end the wedding weekend to share opening the gifts with loved ones instead of just the two of you alone.   After all, it will be a great way to wind-down after all the festivities.

Gift-Opening will be something to look forward to.   So enjoy!
